The time of music, the shape of the party!

In the blink of an eye, we've reached the tenth edition of ClassicheForme.
This year's theme, chosen well before the wonderful personal event, is "Family Lexicon", a common thread that will run through the entire festival: the sense of belonging among performers, musical and educational families, the silent kinships that run through the history of music. A choral tale, enriched by extraordinary guests, who will accompany us in the discovery of the traditions and musical stories that have always embodied the strength and universal power of music. I imagined the tenth edition as an authentic celebration, capable of preserving intact the enthusiasm of the beginnings and, at the same time, embracing it with the awareness of those who, over time, have learned To know oneself, to recognize one's own value, and to transform every experience into a creative force. In continuity with the original concept of ClassicheForme, the tenth edition will revolve around "The Care of Talent", the project to support emerging musicians who, alongside established names in international concert music, will take the stage to perform works ranging from the sixteenth-century tradition of Monteverdi to the Russian school of Tchaikovsky and Taneyev, to the Anglo-American expressions of Britten and Barber. ClassicheForme10 will be a curious and bold edition, capable of embracing variety and looking at what music is today and what it could be tomorrow.

The program

The word Festival has always held the most authentic meaning of celebration: a suspended, shared moment in which people gather to celebrate something that goes beyond the event itself. Since its first edition, ClassicheForme has chosen to embody this idea in the deepest meaning of the term: encounter, participation, emotion experienced together.
Today, in its tenth edition, this dimension is amplified and becomes even brighter. Celebrating ten years of ClassicheForme is an almost surprising milestone, one that deserves to be viewed with the eyes of joy and youth, but also with that new awareness that only time can bestow. It is a celebration that preserves the enthusiasm of the beginning intact and embraces it with the maturity of those who have learned to know themselves, to recognize their value, and to transform every experience into a creative force.
The true gift of the passing of time is precisely this: experience that becomes energy, vision, shared happiness. Looking back, our thoughts fondly return to the simplicity of the first edition: a pared-down, almost artisanal organization that already held within itself the seeds of everything that time would later nurture, refine, and deeply define its identity. Attentive listening, attention to detail, a desire to connect and share, and the intuition of music as a living narrative were already there.
In ten years, many transformations have taken shape. Young talents who were stepping onto the festival stage for the first time are now protagonists of the international classical music scene; volunteers driven by enthusiasm and curiosity have become artistic secretaries, production directors, and central figures in the cultural organization of major theaters; writing enthusiasts have found their voice, eventually occupying prominent roles in journalism.
This is the true miracle of ClassicheForme, which has been nourished and continues to be nourished by its ideals: to grow, to deepen, to multiply. The festival is a living organism, capable of generating paths, skills, and visions with each edition. Even the themes chosen each year have become lifeblood, a constant source of nourishment that allows the festival to renew itself while remaining true to itself and its original spirit.
From the beginning, ClassicheForme has pursued a clear and generous idea: to narrate the Salento region through the universal language of chamber music. It has embraced the characteristics of Salento—its light, its hospitality, its landscapes, its human warmth—making them not a backdrop, but a voice. Over these ten years, it has become the ambassador of a recognizable identity, capable of speaking to the world without ever losing its roots.
Today, that original emotion is renewed, more aware and stronger, ready to resonate once again. The tenth edition is this: a conscious, vibrant festival, open to the future, ready to continue sharing emotions.
